Holy crap! Taking one for the team, pit bull style.

Nicholas Hare,  long time boyfriend of the most recent pit bull victim Michal Nelson stated, on camera, that he does not want the death of Ms. Nelson to color anyone's opinion of pit bulls... because it was an freak accident IT WAS "HER TIME!!! "

NO ACCIDENT! A life taken too soon by ignorance and arrogance. Deaths from dangerous dogs can be prevented. MICHAL NELSON would still be with us on this earth had she chosen not to own dangerous dogs. Now she will be remembered as a victim to her own pets. Her Angel Day is December 13, 2013. She is now free of pain and suffering. Rest in Peace.

WTH?

Please take just a moment to watch this video.

How crazy to you have to be to consider the death of a family member by pit bull attack simply taking one for the team, it was her/his time to go?  I kept thinking about Hare's comment and it just rang a bell. I was sure I had heard it before.  Then it  came to me.  Yes! Nick Faibish's mother said the exact same thing about the death of her 12 year old son in 2005. "It's Nicky's time to go," she said. "When you're born you're destined to go and this was his time."

Quick Cliffs Notes on this particular death.  Maureen Faibish was going out to run errands so she PUT HER SON IN BASEMENT WITH A SHOVEL PROPPED AGAINST THE DOOR and the dogs at liberty in the house.  Here are her words "I put him down there, with a shovel on the door," said Faibish, who had left the boy alone with the dogs on June 3 to run some errands. "He had a bunch of food. And I told him, 'Stay down there until I come back.' Typical Nicky, he wouldn't listen to me."

Here are more quotes  from a 2005 SFGATE article I'm not making this up, I swear " Faibish felt compelled to call The Chronicle, she said, because she was upset by comments in a Saturday column that disparaged family members who own pit bulls."  "Even after the whole thing," she said, "I'm not mad at my dogs. I just love them to death."

Maureen Fabish, mother of Nicholas Faibish who was killed says that her dogs were great family dogs and slept with her children regularly. Here, Fabish looks at poster boards filled with images of Nicholas that were at his funeral. Chronicle Photo/Adam Traum Photo: Adam Traum
Maureen Faibish with photos of her son that had been displayed at his funeral,

It should be noted that the death of Nick Faibish led directly to the mandatory neuter and spay for pit bulls in San Francisco.

A dog named Rex is brought in a cage to San Francisco Animal Care and Control after being found at the scene of a fatality where a boy named Nicholas Scott Faibish was mauled.

This was Rex, killer of 12 year old Nick Faibish.

Pit  bull advocates should be aware that even if they are not particularly troubled by mauling deaths of family members considering the deaths simple fate, normal people are horrified and this is how regulatory laws come to be written.

Death and Excuses, please God make this the last Death and Excuses post of the year.

Well here we are with another Death and Excuses post.  I hope it is the final one of the year but this blog will continue with Death and Excuses posts until the deaths stop and/or pit bull advocacy gets the message to the masses and the outrageous comments stop.  The only appropriate remark on the mauling death of a human is "I am so sorry for your loss."

In that spirit, this post will begin with one of the most outrageous comments I have ever seen.  This comment was directed to the grieving father of a toddler killed by a baby sitter's pit bulls.  For more information on this sad death please click here.  The individual making this comment is James Barry, a proud, unemployed resident of Sheffield England, here are his thoughts.
James Barry · Works at None
Jeff Borchardt Maybe if you had made better choices in YOUR life. You were not so weak, hence the alcohol and drugs you have consumed over the years and generally had to tried to live your life like a decent, honest upstanding member of the community. You would have had better friends than the low life YOU chose to babysit for your child that day. A choice YOU made of your own free will. I hope and pray to god you NEVER have anymore children, you do not deserve them. Or else, what would you blame the next tragedy on? It appears to me and anyone reading your postings that you have great difficulty taking responsibility for anything. Weak people make poor choices, look up the statistical data on that one. And put this on your crappy blog, it is sad and pathetic that you grasp on to any little thing to try and absolve yourself from taking any responsibility for YOUR actions.

The quote came from this article from THV11.com titled Animal control officers look to curb dog vicious attacks.  Any spare time might be spent reading additional comments from breed specific advocates.  Mr. Barry is not alone and that is frightening.

Today would have been Dax Borchardt's second birthday. The parents of Dax Borchardt have asked that balloons be released today in remembrance of their son who loved balloons.

OK now, we will get on to the most recent dog mauling deaths.

Ms. Atkins was feeding the dogs when they attacked her, she was found dead in the dog's enclosure.  In the classic summation statement in the article it is reported that there was no history of violence from these pit bulls.

Nga Woodhead, a 65 year old woman who normally walked six to seven miles per day was attacked by two pit bulls on October 30th while on her normal morning walk.  Good Samaritans stepped in to help Mrs. Woodhead.  The account of the attack made by one of the rescuers is below the photo the pit bull owner. Please read this man's statement and picture the dogs as Beagles or Poodles. Doesn't work does it? Deputies at the scene of the attack shot both dogs.

Mrs. Woodhead suffered a fatal heart attack as she was nearing discharge from the hospital on 11/5/2013. It was determined that Mrs. Woodhead's injuries from the dog mauling caused the fatal heart attack.  Chuck Woodhead was at his wife's bedside at the time of her death.  The couple met in Viet Nam in 1970 while Mr. Woodhead was in the Air Force.  Nga Woodhead died one day short of her 42nd wedding anniversary.
Woman attacked by pit bulls dies from her injuries
Nga Woodhead

Santiago Quezada, owner of the pit bulls, lived just down the street.  Mr. Quezada stated that he "feels awful about the attack" and "we're going to fix things, you know." He also stated that "They're really nice dogs" and  he doesn't know how they got out.  How might anyone "fix" a death?
.
Santiago Quezada, pit bull owner.

Below is the statement given to police by a rescuer.  WOW!

Driving southbound on SR7 from the American Lake VA Hospital I saw a middle aged heavy set woman jumping and screaming for help on the other side and then I saw two dogs mauling something in the ditch. Assuming the worst, her child I veered to the center land, hit the hazards and jumping out bounding across two lanes of heavy traffic at 0900 on October 30th to find two pit bulls mauled a senior Asian woman. This woman was clearly severely injured and unable to defend herself as the two dog had her quartered and ripping arm and leg. Her clothes were already half ripped off and deep lacerations were clearly evident. I immediately start growing, yelling and punching the larger male pit bull in the nose as both dog turned their attack to me. Punching both dogs to lured them into oncoming traffic, I focused my attack on the alpha male and kicked at the female dog to insure both pursued me into traffic to use the passing vehicles as weapons since I was unarmed due to visiting the VA and passing through Joint Base Lewis McChord, Russian Roulette being better than certain death. Unfortunately a white sedan missed me and stopped short of hitting the larger male pit bull. I advanced on the animal taking control pounding its head into the road as the small female got my left upper thigh. Once that female dog locked on my thigh I tried to through the larger male pit bull into the next lane of traffic as a desperate act but the collar broke. I knew I had to stop traffic to get help. When that collar broke I turned my blows to the female's nose to break her locked jaw on my thigh. With success I immediate lunged on to the white sedan that was blocking one lane of traffic to catch my breath and access the situation. The male pit bull got my leather sneaker and was trying to pull me from the hood on the car. I saw cars stopping and a truck driving up the side walk to the woman location and the female dog was back at the old woman again as I kicked the male in the nose. I jumped and run to the ditch for the female dog to get it off the woman again as the male dog pursued me. I laid into the female dog punching and two men approached from different direction to the woman and the truck that came up the side walk. The three men were able to distract the male pit bull as I attacked the female pit again to get it off the victim. The female dog pursue me back into the street as I continued punching hoping the two men and truck driver would be able to keep the larger male dog off me. I shouted orders to the truck driver to run that dog down and kill it while the two men kept it off as I fought the female back into the street. One man was bit by the male dog while I was fighting the female in the middle of the street. Bystanders were approaching and some woman actually screamed at me to leave that dog alone!!!! I was slowing with exhaustion and the male pit bull left the man, truck and victim and came to the female pit bulls aide. In total exhaustion and was unable to counter the attack and the male dog locked onto my right forearm and latched cracking bones and ripping flesh. The cracking of bone was an instant shock and an eternity of hesitation. I punched it nose and pulled to prevent my arm from elbow or shoulder damage as I was taken down. The female bit my left punching fist so I used her head to hit the male dog and break it hold. Only with God's help it worked and I crawled to the hood of the white sedan again with female dog pulling at my feet. Unable to continue severely injured myself, I scrambled to the roof of the car. The pickup driver on the sidewalk in his truck next to the victim fired a personal sidearm as the male pit bull return to the two men and victim. I thank the off duty soldier and promised to bear witness. The inured male dog fled. With the knowledge of backup I scrambled to the victim to access and triage but the female dog returned to me and the victim. I gave orders of assessment to a new male bystander for the triage of the victim as I had to fight the female dog again. Due to shock, injury and exhaustion the female dog was able to easy lock onto my injured right forearm and able to crack bone again. With a punch to the nose I was able to return to the victim and make a visual of the injuries, Deep laceration to the all extremities with bicep hanging. I order the victim covered from the cold until professional help arrived. I scampered to my vehicle to call Brenda Roman to get the kids to school and come to my location and help me back to the hospital. As police approached I directed and order them to kill female pit bull as I limped back toward the animal that the men were keeping abbey from me and the victim. Three Sheriffs isolated the dog as I directed paramedics to the victim not me. Once the police finally shot the last dog and I was answering the medic’s questions I provided the police with ID and initial brief. Medics recommend I go with them, but I choose to return to my clinic where I knew everyone. Injured soldier that helped offered ride to nearby Madigan Army Hospital. Again I declined choosing to return to my Urgent Care at American Lake VA Hospital where I know everyone.

Seventy five year old Joan Kappen was attacked by a dog reported to be a Bull Mastiff as she was walking in the gated community of Hot Springs Village.  Mrs. Kappan died of her injuries.

The attacking dog is owned by Emily Coy but was in  the care of her mother at the time of the attack.  Coy's mother was injured as she tried to regain control of the dog.  Coy's  dog was euthanized.

Mrs. Kappen's son has filed a suit  in civil court.  He is asking for 2.5 million dollars in damages from dog owner Emily Coy and Brande Coy,  Emily's mother.  Here are the charges.

A two and a half million dollar lawsuit has been filed against the woman authorities say owned a dog that killed a Hot Springs Village woman. 75 year old Joan Kappen died after she was attacked by a bull mastiff November 25th while she was on her morning walk. The suit was filed in Saline County Circuit Court and claims that Brande Coy, acting on behalf of the dog’s owner, Emily Coy, was negligent in failing to restrain and control the dog. The suit also alleges that Emily Coy harbored a dangerous animal, failed to warn people of the presence of a dangerous animal, and left it in the care someone who could not control it. The dog has been euthenized.
Mrs. Kappen's husband has become an outspoken spokesperson for breed specific legislation.   He demands breed bans.

Three month old Mia Gibson was killed by family pet dogs, two Shiba Inus, as her parents slept.  It was reported that the baby, a tiny preemie, may have been sleeping on the couch with her father and fell to the floor where the dogs attacked her.  Neither of the parents reported hearing any sound of the attack.

In his massive and comprehensive report, Dog Attack Deaths and Maimings, US and Canada 1982 to the present, Merritt Clifton notes zero prior fatal attacks by this breed of dog.  This tragic death was truly a freak occurrence.  An Ohio Shiba Inu breeder Clova Wide gives her opinion on how dangerous is a Shiba Inu,   "They're quiet, and they very seldom bark,"  Wide says she's been raising them for 17 years.  She said was shocked to hear Inu's were responsible for the death of the baby.
"A big dog in a small body," is how the website YourPurebredPuppy.com refers to the breed.  The website recommends the dogs be kept on-leash, as they typically have a high prey drive and will pursue anything that moves.
Wide said that what she heard about the incident is not typical in her experience.
"That is absolutely in my opinion not typical of a Shiba Inu,"
Per breed standards the Shiba Inu is a 17 to 23 pound dog and is expected to mature at 13 1/2 to 16 1/2 inches tall at the shoulder.

A Valencia County woman was mauled to death by one of her twelve pit bull dogs as she was caring for them.  Per reports, 41 year old Michal Nelson went into an out door pen and was breaking ice out of a water bowl when she was attacked by one of her pit bulls.  Her son arrived home to find his mother dead with the pit bull close by, he shot the dog.  Nelson may have been a breeder but there is no indication that the dogs were bred for dog fighting or were kept for that purpose.  There will be no charges in relation to this deaths since the victim was also the owner of the pit bulls.

Ms. Nelson was the 106th American mauled to death by pit bulls since President Obama took office and the tenth pit bull mauling death since he made a public statement opposing breed specific legislation in August of this year.  How many deaths will it take until elected officials turn away from the well funded and well organized breed specific lobbyists and consider simple public safety?  The president's statement was a shameful sellout to a special interest.

Now we get to the comments made by pit bull advocates.  If anything, they are getting worse.  Lets step into the bizarre world of pit bull advocacy.  How could any sane person think that comments like these would give a favorable impression of pit bulls or their owners?

Humans can and do throw out their pets like garbage. As we speak, tens of thousands are being put down in shelters all over the country. Humans can and do torture animals for fun. Dogfighting, crush videos, what happened to Puppy Doe...Humans can and do rape and murder toddlers and the elderly. Given the choice, I'd choose to go bowling with the meanest pit bull on earth before I'd go bowling with any of those lowlife humans who would do any of those things. If you want to generalize an entire breed based on the actions of a few, then humans are long overdue to be banned. Just saying.

Tucker Crissman · Greensboro, North Carolina
A very tragic day my condolences to the individuals involved. Bad dogs are not acceptable. I got my first pit putll when i was 14, i am now 51 and i still have one. If you dont have one you don't know what you are taliking about. The media has used the breed to sell stories and turned you into breed biggots. Breed biggots. Why dont you go find something else to hate and stop blaming my dog for something another dog did.

Pit bull is the most misunderstood breed, because many mutts are referred to as pit bulls. It is a generic name for the look of a dog. You don't know this, neither do most people. Go ahead, and take a DNA test of this guys dogs, and see if they are American Pit Bull Terrier. Over 95% of dogs identified as American Pit Bull Terriers that have been DNA test are not real pit bulls. Pit bull as the generic term goes, still makes the dog the most abused dog as well. There is direct correlation with abuse and behavior, even in humans. The most crime comes from ghettos, so does that make a particular race of humans bad. The most terrorist actions and threats come from which religion? Does that make that religions bad or all people of it. Please understand the entire picture before being so short sighted. Too many people are too quite to not rationalize and blame a breed, when most pit bulls are not real pit bulls, but many different breeds, and mainly mixes/mutts. I have a bull terrier/hound mix. What do you think he looks like? Bingo!!

Clay Hundenshire ·  Top Commenter · Virginia Tech
It has been scientifically proven, by DNA evidence, from many well trusted sources, that most dogs that are referred to as pit bulls are not American Pit bull terriers. They were proven to be mutts, and many were bulldog, mastiff, rottweiler and even lab mixes. So, unless you can prove against DNA, you should accept the best science we have science, which is 99.99999999% accurate. Any canine expert can tell you this. understand the subject before jumping the gun.

When will people wake up and realize it is not the breed?? Any animal will bite! I have a pitt and a chihuahua and my chihuahua will bite before my pitt. It is the animal not the breed!

XXXXX... so all pit bull type dogs are the same... just like people named patricia.. there all dumb.

Another media gag. This lady died from a heart attack, which means she had a bad heart. Poor health. Pit bulls didn't kill her, but her health or medical malpractice did. So sick of the ignorant blaming pit bulls, yet all they do is advertise pit bulls to scumbags, because they make pit bulls the scary dog. Anyone that has ever even took the time to meet a pit bull knows that they are great dogs and it totally depends on the owner. Since the pit bull is todays trendy bad boy dog, because the ignorant advertise them as that, which makes them desires to scum, it is the most abused dog, and in every case of an attack, we can clearly see negligence. We can sit there and say that one race kills at a higher rate than other races, and I think you all know which race that is, but, it doesn't make that race bad. it is what dogs are taught, just like people, that makes them either good or bad. Besides that, most pit bulls are mutts; not real pit bulls. I seriously doubt that this guy had real pit bulls, and they are actually pretty rare, and pit bulls (generic term for a look) are incredibly popular. Besides that, this attack happened in Spanawaste. Think about that. It not a very nice place at all.

Lucinda Harris I think Pitbulls can be so sweet. Its the bad parents that give any breed a bad name, its not any dogs fault.

Shannon Dorton Baker · American Business & Fashion Institute
While I think the parents have suffered enough, it is a shame that the dogs will pay for their crime of ignorance.

Sima Greenfield · Works at Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs - Albuquerque
This is so ignorant first of all pitbulls have the second best temperament of any dog according to a the new York times most recent study. Second of all in England pit bulls are called nanny dogs because they are so loyal and sweet and especially good with children.. Saying pitbulls are genetically prone to aggression is like saying all black people smoke crack and join gangs. It's prejudice, idiotic and neglects the natural tendencies of the breed itself and neglects the idea of nature vs nurture.

Jeanna Stout · UNM-Valencia Campus Los Lunas, NM
Pit bulls were breed as nanny dogs in Ireland, to take care of the CHILDREN and herd sheep, they were in no way shape or form bred for violence in any way. It is twised people that turn dogs vicious how about you do your research before you put your fingers on those keys bub.

These comments from Jim Reed who apparently is unable to identify a pit bull but quick to come to the defense of a breed he can't identify,  and that do not actually exist.
Jim Reed ·  Top Commenter · University of Houston-Downtown
I would bet you 100.00 you couldn't identify a pit bull if it was sitting in your lap. Are you afraid of all muscular dogs with a blunt snout.

Jim Reed ·  Top Commenter · University of Houston-Downtown
Of course punish the owners and make them pay for having an aggressive, no one here is saying that they shouldn't be held responsible for what their aggressive dog does. I'm saying that you can't ban a breed that doesn't actually exist as a breed. Te so called Pitts are many different breeds and called pitts because of their appearance. What arm chair analysis, the only one conducting arm chair analysis is the people that want to ban Pitts but can't define a Pitt. How do you do that is it a Staffordshire Terrier mixed with a Boxer or and American Bulldog and what % of the mix would you ban. Think McFly, think!

Jim Reed ·  Top Commenter · University of Houston-Downtown
How do you ban a breed that doesn't actually exist. The term pit bull is a generic term used to describe dogs with similar physical characteristics. Usually a "pit bull" is considered one of several breeds including the American Pit Bull Terrier, the American Staffordshire Terrier, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Bull Terrier or any mix thereof. In some parts of the world, the American Bulldog and Dogo Argentino are also classified as a "Pit Bull-type" dog, despite major genetic differences. Any dog that is mixed with a "bully breed" may also be called a "pit bull" including those that are descended from the English Bulldog, French Bulldog, Boston Terrier and Cane Corso.[3] The pit bull is not a distinct breed which may make it difficult for experts to identify,[4][5][6] and while mixed breed dogs are often labelled a "pit bull" if they have certain physical characteristics such as a square shaped head or bulky body type,[3] visual identification of mixed breed dogs is not recommended by the scholarly community.[4]
But wait... Jim now states that pit bull IS a breed.  The man can't make up his mind.
Jim Reed ·  Top Commenter · University of Houston-Downtown
That's right but you don't know how the Dam or the Sire was treated or if the puppies came from fighting stock. The problem is you and most of the others here don't have any idea of what you're talking about. Pit Bull is a specific breed in reality and 90% of what people call Pit Bulls are not pure Pit Bulls! You are talking from emotion not facts.

Billy E Rogers ·  Top Commenter · John Marshall High School
You people are the hate group. You base your hate on physical appearance. Short hair and a blocky head...automatic pit bull. That sir is the very definition of racist hate. You lump upwards of 25 breeds of dogs into the group "pit bull" in order to skew "statistics". Not much different than the tactics used by the Nazis prior to and during WWII.

Dogs have just as much right as humans to live without abuse and fear and such. I don't put the value of this woman's live above that of her dogs simply because she is a human being. As humans we have to get over ourselves and stop abusing dogs and thinking it's okay! Leaving them out in freezing weather was abuse and yes, I dare say she got what she deserved.

Amanda Jacobsen Smith Why is your human life more valuable than any other animal?? Humans kill sharks, mountain lions, and so many other creatures, many to the point of being extinct. Human life is no more valuable than any other creature, we are such self centered beings and it's going to destroy every other life on this planet. Hell, humans kill more humans than any other creature. Maybe we should start killing humans preemptively because of what other humans have done.

I agree, I hope nothing happens to the dogs either. It all comes back down to the parents not watching the baby. That's their job. It would be wrong to put the dogs to sleep. But that seems to be the answer to everything when trying to shift the blame/guilt.

Misty Schwen · Works at Logan's Roadhouse
the parents need to be charged with neglect. I am a single mother of three and every time they toss in their beds in a separate room I wake. Noise had to be made I don't believe the parents they were prob on drugs or something

Educate yourselves. Have any of you "experts" ever owned a pit bull? Or do you just own those evil little yappy dogs that bite everything and everyone?!
It's simple bad owner = bad dog! No matter what breed. She obviously left these poor dogs out in the freezing cold with frozen water. Sorry but I'd poetically get fed up and attack too. Plus if she mistreated them that could also cause the dog to not be loyal to her and just snap.
Owners are to blame in these situations put the info they are giving you together!

This is not true. Pit bulls are just the number one REPORTED dog that attacks people, and the media just hypes it up even more. It is not just pits who are aggressive, in fact the other week I was in Roswell and the Animal Control Officer was attacked by a bunch of chihuahuas. I have seen cute fluffy non pits almost rip out a persons throat, but because they are not a 'dangerous breed' nothing happened. Because people stereotype pits, they are the ones who are mistreated the most.

This blog spot ain't here to help with the grieving, sweet cheeks. It's to sound off about the various factors involved. I see you're new to this blogspot, but that's the way it is. You came to the wrong place if you're seeking only compassion. This is Babylon, baby. A real cesspool of human deplorability. Is it true she kept them in an outdoor kennel? If so, that's reprehensible and shows a deplorable lack of compassion. Not saying she deserved to be croaked, but kinda hard to blame the dog, huh?

It truly is a Christmas tragedy, but more so for the innocent pit bull that was killed. This woman who is reported as "lover of animals" could not possibly love the poor animals she kept CHAINED and NEGLECTED on her property. This pit bull was only 1 of the 12 other dogs this woman 'saved'. I'm sorry, but condemning an innocent dog to a life of neglect is by no means "saving" them. This baby boy was kept outside, chained in the freezing cold, shown no manners, no love, no care and was merely a lawn ornament. Bernalillo County has passed laws regarding chained animals, and other counties should also pass laws preventing chaining, as it is INHUMANE and CRUEL. If you're cold, the dog is cold. If you're hungry, the dog gets hungry. If you're thirsty, the dog is thirsty. The media makes it so much worse, always posting articles and news segments about how pit bulls are always the ones killing/maiming a person or another dog, blah blah, but it is never the humans fault, oh no, because blaming a human for something a dog did is completely outrageous, right? Well let me tell you something; Dogs are completely innocent and pure, until a HUMAN turns them into a monster. Condolences to the family, however I fully believe in karma, and, well...here's your sign

You apparently have issues with these dogs......stay away from them,  hide in your house and never leave it again.   From what I gather,  you have so much fear of these dogs that you would rather stay hidden away and bi&ch about them than go learn anything real about them!

ANY FREAKING FLIPPING DAMN DOG CAN DO THIS EVEN A WHEE LIL YORKIE (might take longer) BUT ANY DOG NO MATTER THE BREED CAN KILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it had been ANY other breed, we would not have heard a thing.  It's a shame INEXPERIENCED & LAZY people own Bull Terriers and DO NOT take the responsibility to seriously.  IT IS NOT THE DOG. IT IS THE OWNER!  If you own an animal, it is your responsibility to train it and be liable for it's actions.  Please stop with the ignorant comments about Bull Terriers.  They do not have an innate disposition to hurt humans. That is a ridiculous statement. If you continue to spew your ignorance, please tell me what chemical(s) cause this specific  breed of canine to be born with a drive to "hurt."  You don't know what it is called, because it does not exist.  If you do not have a Bull Terrier or have any REAL experience with the breed you should not make your comments based off ignorant people and their ignorant comments.

@Plumbusted: You better bring something better than a pitchfork. Alot of us pit owners have very nice big guns. In my home it ain't my pit mix that you need to worry about, its me and my 12 gauge.Come to hurt my dogs and you will be getting loaded with some hot lead. I will be the first to shoot my dog if they ever show agression toward someone or even toward other animals as I don't tolerate that bad behavior, unless they are attacking someone breaking into my home, but as I said it ain't my dogs you need to worry about. I hate it when people blame an entire breed for some bad apples, that would be like saying lets shoot all black people because this group of black gang members shot and killed a bunch of people. It is profiling plain and simple.

The main concern is that a woman is dead. So stop bashing a dog breed. Go on with your stupi self, if you are going to blame the breed. All you hear is pit bulls are evil….blah blah… But have you owned one, been around one? No, hell a chihuahua could attack you, it’s all about hot the individual dog is raised, and taught. Your father kills someone, does that make you a killer too? NO! So do not say it’s in their blood. Open your eyes and use your brain people, it’s how you teach a puppy, an what they see. Stop bashing pit bulls, you sound like a bunch of idiots, and don’t even know it. I mean really people.
  • This just in, a late entry but a real winner.

First of all, this has nothing to do with the breed. This could have been a lab that killed her, and I’m sure 100% people wouldn’t make a big deal about it. Secondly, you have know idea how this happend, she could have been abusing them like hitting them, or they both got into a fight she tried to stop them and got into it. You never know what happened, nobody witness this. So it’s a total guess. They could have been raised aggressively too. I feel very sorry for what happened. People need to be educated before they say things that are totally not true.
  • I will end this horrid and very long post by bringing it back where it started.
